As a highly organized and strategic thinker with a proven track record of growing small businesses, I would love the opportunity to be Chief of Staff at Sanzo.

 

Most recently, I served as GM for two years at LA Artisan, a growing beverage CPG company. I audited and redeveloped the overall strategy for their flagship product, Grass Fed Coffee, resulting in a 50% decrease in operational costs and a 40% increase in brand exposure. Additionally, I managed logistics among our 3PL partner, sales team, and 4 major distributors.

 

Later, I spearheaded Rad Rooster, a second brand set to launch this summer. I revamped the original shrink-sleeve concept and refined the voice of the brand. I frequently met with partners and contractors to complete our 6 SKUs, establish COGs, and build supplier lists, while simultaneously preparing analyses and launching strategies to present to our CEO. Unfortunately, COVID put a stop to the project. A tough reality to face, but I know this preparation and experience was invaluable.

I love working at the ground level and growing with a business. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the hustle and grind of startups and am very comfortable taking extra responsibility and ownership to fill different needs as they arise. At the end of the day, I do everything necessary to help the company move forward, diving in to find solutions to problems and develop strategies for growth.

  • First employee of an early-stage company. Created, implemented, and supported new organizational processes, workflows, policies, and procedures

  • Managed day-to-day operations and assisted with new business applicants (avg. 70 new business/day), change requests, technical support, and billing questions 

  • Created automated online quoting and policy platforms. Continually evaluated systems and online processes to improve the insured’s user experience, which ultimately improved overall employee efficiency on the back end
